The Committee on Accreditation for Anesthesia Technology Education (CoA-ATE) has established a growing network of CAAHEP-accredited Anesthesia Technology training programs at academic institutions across the United States.

Academic institutions with an established Anesthesia Technology curriculum undergo a rigorous application process overseen by CAAHEP and CoA-ATE. New programs enter the process by seeking to obtain CoA-ATE approval, which when granted, comes to them in the form of a Letter of Review (LoR). Programs with a LoR are designated as CoA-ATE approved. Once approved by CoA-ATE, ASATT’s accrediting body, programs proceed through the CAAHEP accreditation process until they become a fully accredited educational program.

ALL new programs that wish to enter the accreditation process must begin with the Letter of Review process – Click Here for information.
