Hello & Happy Summer!

First, I’d like to extend a BIG thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the planning of our in-person Region 1 meeting held last month in Boston. Your time, effort, and dedication truly made it a success, and it was wonderful meeting you all. Our region continues to push forward in achieving certification goals while promoting awareness and education within our profession.

I’m excited to share that our two Boston-based schools are continuing through the accreditation process. With that said, we are beyond thrilled to announce that Quincy College has officially set a start date for its A.S. in Anesthesia Technology, this degree program starts in January 2027! The college is working diligently behind the scenes to build a strong curriculum and provide exceptional resources for future professionals.

With many new members joining our Society, I strongly encourage open communication and welcome any feedback, so please feel free to reach out. We have a variety of amazing Committees for members to join, and I encourage you to explore our site to see what sparks your interest. Getting involved is a great way to connect, contribute, and grow within our community.

There are many exciting things on the horizon, and we would love for you to be a part of them!
